TLI31216 Certificate III in Driving Operations (Bus)
Our Certificate III in Driving Operations (Bus) Traineeships are available to passenger bus service operators who employ drivers to drive and operate buses and Coaches across Western Australia. This traineeship is designed to inform, educate and provide safety-first approaches to all bus/coach operators transporting passengers anywhere in Western Australia.
Within our Certificate III in Driving Operations (Bus) Traineeship, each candidate will be trained by our team of professionals to safely operate and conduct bus/coach transporting services as per Australian Standards.
Throughout this traineeship, each candidate will be required to complete 18 units – spread evenly across the course duration. Each unit has been designed to ensure the utmost safety of the driver, passengers and general public relating transporting activities. An all-inclusive traineeship that results in a Nationwide Training Certified Bus/Coach Driver.
Government funding may be available to employers for their chosen candidates based on their current work history with their current company. Requirements include: where an employee has been working for less than three months on a full time basis or less than twelve months on a part time basis, the employee may attract such incentives and funding. On completion, each candidate will receive a Certificate III in Driving Operations (Bus) issued by Nationwide Training.

Driving Operations - Traineeship Eligibility
Employees who have been working for your company for less than three (3) months full time may attract employer incentives and funding
Employees who have been working for your company for less than twelve (12) months part time may attract employer incentives and funding
Employers may also be eligible for incentives from both the federal and state government up to $8,250.00
$2,125.00 – Commencement payment at the six (6) month milestone
$2,125.00 – Completion payment if the completion occurs on or after the eighteen (18) month milestone full time or twenty seventh (27) month milestone part time. Earlier completions are paid on a pro rata basis
24 months for full time employees
36 months for part time employees
Workplace-based training is delivered face to face and includes pre-reading, practical training and observation of you performing routine work tasks while on-the-job.
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is available.
Funded Course Fees

New Workers Certificate III in Driving Operations (Bus) course fees:
25 years old or over $745.20* GST Free;
17 – 24 years old $745.20* GST Free;
*Annual course fee caps apply of $1,200 or 25 year olds and over and $400 for 17 – 24 year olds
Note: Fees and charges are based on the Department of Training and Workforce Development Fees and Charges Policy in line with Nationwide Training’s recommended training plan. Any changes to the training plan may see an alteration to these fees. Fees are GST free. Fees are only for units started in the current year. Fees for units started in future years are yet to be determined by the government.

Certificate III in Driving Operations $4,200.00 GST free three payments of $1,400.00
Entitles the learner to a maximum of 12 scheduled training sessions.

On Successful Completion
On successful completion of a qualification you will receive a Certificate issued by Nationwide Training:

TLI31216 Certificate III in Driving Operations (Bus) is superseded by TLI30321 Certificate III in Driving Operations
The Transition/Teach Out period ends 20 November 2022.
A total of eighteen (18) units are required for this qualification. Maximum of three (3) units can be imported.
