Course Requirements


  • Must complete thorough pre-reading of the Nationwide Training Manual Handling Learner Guide before attending
  • Must wear fully enclosed shoes
  • Must be able to read, write and understand English
  • Must have a Unique Student Identifier (USI)

  • Assess risks arising from the relocation of loads
  • Plan load relocation
  • Relocate a load
  • The principles of correct lifting

This classroom-based training is delivered face to face. Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is available.

On Successful Completion

On successful completion of this course you will receive a Statement of Attainment issued by Nationwide Training:

TLID1001 Shift materials safely using manual handling methods is superseded by and equivalent to

TLID0020 Shift materials safely using manual handling methods. The Transition/Teach Out period ends 20 November 2022
